Dr. Kawalpreet Kaur was exactly what we needed this morning. My cat Jupiter has a working diagnosis of neurological FIP with ocular involvement and I came into this appointment in a really difficult position — our previous vet had canceled last minute, and we’ve had serious problems navigating care in Ottawa. Dr. Kaur listened, took the situation seriously, reviewed everything I provided, and wrote a referral to a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist without hesitation. She was calm, professional, and genuinely compassionate. At the end of our appointment she told me she was proud of me for fighting for Jupiter. That meant more than I can put into words. When you’re advocating alone for a sick cat, having a vet who sees you — really sees you — makes all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Kaur.

I explained the skin problem and she knew immediately what it was. She looked at my cat on the live call and gave a treatment plan with daily cleaning and prescription. She also took the time to give advice on how my other cat wouldn’t be able to make it worse.
