Dr. Jennifer Lebel is a seasoned veterinarian who brings over 20 years of rich and varied experience to her online practice. Since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2001, she has cultivated a multifaceted career spanning mixed-animal practice, private clinical ownership, and a distinguished 15-year career in referral emergency hospitals across southern Ontario..
During her extensive time in emergency settings, Dr. Lebel worked closely with a team of referral specialists—including neurologists, oncologists, internal medicine experts, cardiologists, ophthalmologists and surgeons—broadening her perspective and deepening her knowledge across a wide spectrum of advanced veterinary care. This collaborative experience allows her to bring a comprehensive, well-rounded approach to each patient she sees.
A passionate advocate for preventive care and complex disease management, Dr. Lebel believes that many emergencies can be avoided with proactive wellness strategies. She is dedicated to helping pets thrive through thoughtful, preventive approaches that reduce the need for urgent interventions.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Lebel enjoying the great outdoors, reading by the lake, or spending quality time with her beloved bulldogs. She also maintains a special interest in equine and large animal care, blending her love for animals of all sizes into her holistic veterinary philosophy.
