About Vet

Thank you for considering me for your pet's care! My name is Dr. Patti Perry, and I am passionate about providing the best patient care possible. I graduated from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, and currently practice in both Virginia and North Carolina with my main practice located in Mount Airy, NC. While the majority of my patients are cats and dogs, I do provide care for horses as well. I believe the most important part of my job is making sure you understand what is going on with your pet, so you feel empowered to make the best decisions possible for them. I try to be as upfront and honest about my clinical impressions, your options, and potential outcomes so we can create a short and long term plan to get them feeling better as soon as possible! I look forward to seeing you in our appointments together! Please note - Telemedicine is currently regulated on a state level. Each state has their own regulations about whether or not a VCPR can be established via telemedicine, and whether or not the veterinarian can prescribe medications. I can prescribe medications to patients in VA in most cases. However, due to state regulations, I cannot prescribe medications to patients in NC in most cases. Additionally, if I am not licensed in your state, I cannot prescribe medications to your pet. I am, however, happy to consult with you about your pet, any medical concerns you may have, and discuss if your pet needs further treatment or options for care that do not include prescription medications for all pets in all states!

Efficient and professional. It wasn’t a difficult problem so didn’t need much time. She made suggestions for possible future steps if this treatment was unsuccessful.

Very convenient from my own home next to my cuddling pup, not stressful at all for him as opposed to going in person to the vet. Was able to get a quick prescription sent over to my local pharmacy.

I wish I knew about this app sooner! I received thorough answers to my questions and more information than I’ve been able to receive in person. Absolutely life changing. Thank you again!
