About Vet

I grew up In Vancouver, BC where I fostered an affinity towards animals from a very young age. After obtaining my BSc. in Animal Biology from UBC, I set off to Scotland for vet school obtaining my vet degree from the University of Glasgow in 2014. I worked in the Toronto area for about 5 years before heading west to Winnipeg where I worked at a small animal day practice with associated emergency hospital for another 5 years. In June 2024 my family and I relocated further west to land back in Vancouver where I am excited to begin the next phase of my career and reconnect with my old home. Internal medicine is my main area of interest but I enjoy all aspects of providing assistance to pet parents as a general practitioner. I am also very passionate about leveraging technology towards improving patient outcomes and client experiences. If I had to choose one reason why I got into this career it would be to support and promote the human animal bond; I am looking forward to helping you strengthen that here on the Vetster platform!

It was our first time booking through this app and Dr.Holland was very thorough and helpful and gave us great advice for our dog.I'm very happy with our visit today. We live in a very remote town and the closest vet is 4 hours away and I am very happy to have been able to talk to someone that gave us some peace of mind :)

Dr. Holland was very attentive and asked a lot of questions. He took the time to get Oliver's history and provide advice on next steps.

Through vetster the appointment was easy to set up. Dr. Holland was right on schedule, had read up on my lengthy post about my dog's situation, and had the knowledge to answer those questions, as well as all of my follow-up questions. The video and audio quality weren't great, but Dr. Holland had no problem reiterating if I didn't hear or understand(the low quality of the connection could have been on my end). I'll be using the service again in the future.

Gave us great insight on what to do after our dog ruptured is Achille's tendon. Very reassuring. Unfortunately, the sound quality of the consultation was bad and I think using earphones would help customers.
