About Vet

Hi there! I'm Dr. Yvonne. I am a companion animal veterinarian who has been practicing since I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph back in 1998. I have a wealth of experience that only years of private practice can provide and I enjoy keeping current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine. My interests and specialty have always been with preventative healthcare, nutrition and internal medicine (figuring out why your pet is ill, and implementing a treatment plan). I thoroughly enjoy interacting with my clients and patients in the exam room and now this has expanded to include the virtual platform as well. I have a very casual rapport with my clients and a fun sense of humour which is usually contagious and makes for a great day. You will usually see me in a funky scrub top and bright coloured athletic shoes which gives you a snapshot of my personality.

Outside of work, I share my time with my husband and 4 amazing kids. To add to the chaos of our household, we have a Yellow Lab "Tank" and and 2 Jack Russell Terriers "Buddy" and "Kenny". We enjoy lots of family time camping, heading to the beach and going to the kids sporting events.

Out of anything good that can come from a pandemic, the ability to help out pet parents via telemedicine is one of them. It is a unique opportunity to connect with you to help with your pet's wellness and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. Until then, stay safe and be well.

Kind regards, Yvonne
