About Vet

I have been a veterinarian since 1999 - and I love almost every part of my chosen career. My husband and I moved to Nova Scotia in 2018, after I sold my veterinary hospital in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. We wanted a quieter life and to be next to the ocean so we settled eventually in the town of Lunenburg. We have 4 cats - Twenty year old Tilly, a F2 Spotted Savannah named Theodore (Teddy) and two very naughty Oriental Shorthair kitties, Petunia and Oliver Twist. All together they are wonderful! They spent much of their time in their large outdoor Catio that overlooks a beautiful oceanfront salt marsh. I am not working full time at a specific hospital, but rather, I’m am available as a Locum Tenens, and fill in at hospitals who need someone for holiday coverage, or to help with excessive workload. This means I get to meet new people, see many hospitals, learn new methods and exchange ideas! With Vetster I get to help folks who may need to access help without visiting a brick and mortar location. In my free time I enjoy feeding some of the wildlife around me, walking, reading and watching cartoons!
