I’ve been working towards being a veterinarian since I was 8 years old. I studied Animal Biology at the University of Guelph (graduating with a BSc Honours in 2012), and completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016.
My passions in practice are wellness care, client education, nutrition, behaviour, geriatric and palliative care, rehabilitation, exotic animal care (special interest but not a certified specialist), wildlife medicine and rehabilitation, dermatology, internal medicine, and animal welfare. I practice compassionate care that focuses on the wellbeing of the patient using resources available to the client.
Growing up I had cats, a rabbit, and a goldfish, and in my adult years I’ve had a rabbit, frog, hamster, along with my current pets German Shepherd mix Harley, Golden Retriever Hope, and Corn Snake Frosty. I also lease a Quarter Horse named Cash in my spare time. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, but my focus is small animal primary care.
