• As a Registered Vet Tech employed in Turks and Caicos, I tend to animals with specific needs of these islands. I am a surgical technician and a nurse for our daily scheduled appointments and procedures. Due to the over population of dogs on this island, I play a vital role in routine spay and neuter clinics. • A lot of my day is spent taking technician appointments, giving medications, obtaining blood and other diagnostic samples, as well as nursing post operative patients and boarding animals. • Client education is important to me; I focus on teaching people how to train, care and provide for their animals. I have worked extensively with cats at feline only practices and have strong knowledge about cats and their well-being.
