Dr. Julia Hughes

Dr. Julia Hughes is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario Canada. Following graduation, she completed a Clinical Skills internship at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Hughes has experience both in private practice as well as in shelter medicine.

Dr. Hughes is passionate about preserving the human animal bond and keeping furry friends with their human family members who love them. She strives to support this by helping to break down barriers to accessible veterinary care, such as through an incremental care and preventative health care approach, telemedicine to reduce physical and transportation barriers as well as supporting community outreach initiatives in the field.

Dr. Hughes is very passionate about quality of life and helping our furry friends thrive. She takes great pride in supporting furry friends and their human family members and would be honoured to assist in your furry friend’s care plan.
