About Vet

My name is Dimitrios, and I have been a practising veterinary surgeon for the past ten years. All this time, I was fortunate enough to help patients in different clinics and parts of the country, gaining considerable experience along the way. I did academic research in Dermatology and recently became a partner in a private practice. I love playing the piano to humans and pets, writing about pet health online and volunteering as a medical translator in Translators Without Borders. Dr Dimitrios gave us good advice on how to control our cat's skin allergy until we can bring her to a vet facility. We have just moved to the UK, and it is not clear how to navigate through vet services and regulations in different countries, and he helped us with good advice. I thought he could prescript her medicine, but he couldn't do it as she is still not registered in a vet clinic in the UK - I have to say that this info wasn't clear on the Vetster platform.
