From a young age, Dr. Miao (yes pronounced "meow") dreamed of combining her love of animals and science in the field of veterinary medicine. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at Queen's University, she moved to Guelph to study at the Ontario Veterinary College. During this time, she had the opportunity to travel to Thailand and volunteer for wildlife and rescue dog organizations.
Dr. Miao is an experienced small animal veterinarian in Toronto, and her favourite part of the job is educating pet parents and working collaboratively with them to provide the best possible care for their animals. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, nutrition, and preventative care. She is excited to bring her experience and passion to Vetster and use telemedicine to increase access to care for more pets.
