Dr. Karen Barnes

Hello from me and my Great Dane Theo! I am a small animal veterinarian and clinic owner with over 30 years experience. My areas of interest include surgery, emergency medicine and canine physical therapy. I have decades of experience and I am happy to advise on any health issue you may have with your dog or cat.

I am also a certified equine rehabilitation practitioner. After 40 years of training and competing in equestrian sports including dressage and eventing, I realized there must be a better way to return a horse from injury other than continuous stall rest. After becoming certified through a comprehensive equine rehab program at the University of Tennessee, I now enjoy helping horses and riders to not only return their horses to work after injury but advise on performance enhancing techniques for high level horses.
