About Vet

Hi there, I'm Dr. McBrierty - I graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. For me, the most important parts of veterinary medicine are compassion, working as a team with clients, and providing clear and thorough explanations so that everyone involved with an animal’s healthcare team understands every situation, every time. My hope is for every client to walk away from each vet visit or Telehealth consult feeling heard, understood, and empowered with a clear plan.

For UK clients: please note that, per RCVS stipulations, prescription medications (POM-V) cannot be prescribed by a veterinary surgeon without hands-on examination of the patient.

My special interests include Dermatology (everything from ear infections to skin health, parasite prevention, allergies, food sensitivities, you name it!), Behaviour (stress, fear, unusual behaviours, environmental and other life changes, etc.), and Internal Medicine (gastrointestinal health, urinary health, liver and kidney health, and the endocrine system).

When not working with my patients, I enjoy running, hiking, gardening, and playing with my own furry mischief-makers 🐾! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
