I have been working in small animal practice for 12 years and pride myself in the standard of care I provide for my patients. I have a masters in Advanced Clinical Practice and a post graduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery. I am also studying for my post graduate certificate in Exotics Medicine.
I run a busy small animal practice and really do enjoy the variation of first opinion practice. I am both an animal person and a people person so enjoy spending time with both my clients and their pets. The majority of my patients are dogs and cats but I frequently also see rabbits, small furries, birds and reptiles. I also work in a busy emergency clinic providing out of hours care for 8 different practices.
I am very passionate about my veterinary care and I like to discuss with owners all the potential treatment options. I try and make diagnostic and treatment options as affordable as possible.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 3 dogs and 3 cats. I consider that there is nothing better than going for a walk with my 3 crazy spaniels.
Please note that the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons has now revoked the ability of vets to prescribe remotely, which we were given special dispensation for during Covid, so we are unable to prescribe prescription-only medication. But I can offer advice about possible over-the-counter drugs which may be suitable to help your pet. In many cases, I am able to offer advice and second opinions without the need for medication, or advise which medications/treatments/diagnostics I would recommend so you are armed with the relevent knowledge.
