I have been qualified as a vet since 2015, and work mainly in the small animal field with dogs, cats and small furries like rats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I love consulting and enjoy discussing topics from preventative care eg neutering/parasite control, to dentistry and geriatric care, as I especially like helping out my elderly patients to make their lives more enjoyable. I am able to offer advice and second opinions. Although vets are not permitted to prescribe medications over video consults, I can advise which diagnostic tests, treatments and/or medications I would recommend. With this information, you can be equipped with the relevant knowledge if you are required to visit a veterinary clinic. I've recently joined Vetster and think it's a great alternative to a face-to-face vet appointment, whether it's because your fur baby gets too anxious at the vets, or you're finding it impossible to actually get an appointment.
