Hi, I'm Dr. Alicja Pelisiak, DVM, MRCVS, CertAVP.
I'm a veterinary surgeon with over 10 years of experience in small animal and exotic animal medicine, working across the UK and Spain. My clinical focus is on exotic small mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish and wildlife, with a particular passion for exotic medicine and surgery. I currently work in a UK exotic referral hospital and also provide specialist exotic veterinary services to practices and hospitals across Spain. I hold a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) and am currently preparing for the Zoological Medicine Synoptic Examination. My experience includes routine consultations, emergency and critical care, surgery, and the long-term management of complex medical conditions. Through online consultations, I provide evidence-based guidance on husbandry, nutrition, behaviour, interpretation of diagnostic results, treatment options, chronic disease management, and second opinions. My aim is to help pet owners better understand their animal's condition and make informed decisions about their care.
Please note that, in accordance with RCVS regulations, I am unable to prescribe prescription-only medications to UK clients following an online consultation alone.
