With several years of experience in emergency medicine at a referral hospital, I've seen and treated a wide range of conditions: from traumas and toxicities, to infectious disease, difficult to manage diabetics, heart disease, seizure disorders, and much, much more. I've learned that the most important aspect of successful outcomes in medicine is honest communication between veterinarian and owners to ensure treatment plans are tailored to every patient and not applied as a one size fits all approach. As the owner of several furry family members I have been on both sides of the table and approach every patient under my care as if they were my own.
