Dr. Kash received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Canada.

After graduating from veterinary college, Dr. Kash worked as the Chief Medical Officer at a pet technology startup helping veterinary practices manage preventive care plans. She is currently completing her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Guelph.

When she’s not helping animals, you will find her, and her family engaged in philanthropic initiatives in Sri Lanka such as helping those less fortunate get access to health care and education. She’s an avid reader, likes to stay active and cook healthy meals for her family. In her spare time, Dr. Kash likes gardening, baking sourdough bread and spending time with her family and friends.

First off- I can’t even begin to imagine the difficulty of trying to make a diagnosis virtually when your patient can’t tell you how they’re feeling! Dr. Kuruppu was attentive,thorough and kind in her virtual examination of my suddenly unwell little dog. Although the goal is keeping him safe and healthy, if the need arises I will definitely reach out to her again.
