Pet owners can now invite their friends to book an appointment to help spread the word about Vetster. Coming soon, we’ll also introduce the option for partners to refer their own clients and to refer other partners to sign up on Vetster!
Introducing Dr. Dasha Perry! Dr. Perry has seen great success through Vetster thus far and as such, wanted to share her tips with you on how to book more appointments.
Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Dasha Perry graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2016. Dr. Perry has experience working both in private practice and shelter settings. She is passionate about nurturing the human-animal bond through open and honest conversation with clients and providing low-stress and compassionate care for her patients.
To generate success on Vetster, I spread the word. I posted my Vetster link on my social media accounts, including LinkedIn, and reached out to family and friends about the new service I'm offering. I've also made myself available for long stretches of daytime. I was initially worried that my daytime availability wouldn't generate appointments, but it turns out if you provide people with a long stretch of time (such as 9 am to 3 pm), they'll take those appointments. While I could probably generate more appointments if I made myself available in the evenings and weekends, I'm happy with the number of appointments I'm booking right now and may consider opening up my hours in the future. I also make a point of asking clients at the end of the appointments how they came across Vetster - some people Google telehealth, others looked for me specifically when they realized I was no longer working at the clinic at which I last saw them for care.
