1. Norm’s Eatery & Alehouse
Norm’s Eatery and Alehouse is a dog-themed pub named after a dog. Pictures of Norm and his canine and friends are all over this bar’s walls, as well as posters and dog-themed inspirational quotes. You can also find paintings, statues, and sculptures of dogs. Of course, they also have a dog menu, including turkey nuggets, bacon pup cakes, and chicken and beef bowls. Dogs are allowed both inside the restaurant and in their outdoor dining area but must be leashed at all times.
2. Bark Espresso
BARK Espresso is a community-focused, dog-friendly coffee house. They serve locally provided items, including local roast Caffe Vita, with bakery items from Macrina Bakery alongside their own in-house micro-baked items. They also have a lunch menu, as well as homemade quiches and breakfast sandwiches. Your pup is allowed in the Hound Hang Out, where you can eat and drink with your dog and connect with other dog owners in the community. Don’t forget to ask for a pooch latte for your dog!
3. Portage Bay Café-Roosevelt
Established in 1997, Portage Bay is a community staple with five locations all over Seattle. This popular cafe is known for its tasty brunch and lunch fare. Portage Bay Café prides itself on using local, organic, and sustainable ingredients, sourced from Pacific Northwest farmers and distributors. Their Roosevelt location is the original Portage Bay Café, and it has a dog-friendly outdoor patio that is open all year round.
