Mini Cat Town separates itself from other adoption locations by being the first kitten lounge in a shopping center. In this kitten lounge, you can sit around with your friends alongside cats and kittens. As a nonprofit, Mini Cat Town is also open for donations and volunteers. Mini Cat Town is open Sunday to Thursday from noon to six in the evening and Friday to Saturday from noon to seven at night.

5. The Dancing Cat

The Dancing Cat is a community space — but with cats! Bring board games, your laptop, or a sketchbook, or simply play with their cats. The Dancing Cat hosts rescue cats from the San Jose Animal Care Center, and some of them are adoptable. Staying in the space is paid by the hour. Note that reservations are required, and only guests five years old and older are allowed.
