About Vet

Dr. Marco D'Amore graduated with honors from the University of Messina, Italy, in 2013. Before and after immediately after graduating, he volunteered at two small animal practices in Sicily, Italy. He then undertook two externships: one in the USA for three months and another one in Brazil for another three months, gaining experience in different small animal hospitals and in a zoo. Additionally, he spent time as a visitor in Rome and the UK shadowing European specialist in exotic animal medicine. Following this, he worked for about 3 years in a small animal and exotic practice in northern Italy before moving to the UK. There he worked for two years in Scotland and he has been practicing in England for the past 6 years. Marco has a strong interest in all aspects of small animal and exotic medicine and surgery. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate certificate in exotic animal medicine and surgery. He loves meeting all the different animals, providing high-quality veterinary care and helping families to make the best decisions for their pets’ well-being.
