Highly experienced in telemedicine, due to background of more than 6 years in charity work and a vast use of remote consulting over the past 3 years due to Covid.

Strong communication skills, delivering consistently to the highest standards along with a pragmatic approach, considering pets and owners.

Aiming to use this platform to provide further advice and support for pet owners, especially when 15minutes consultations might not clarify all doubts (behaviour, training, diet, post-op rehabilitation, arthritis, allergies, etc...)

Please note that, differently from Covid-times, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons has now revoked the ability of vets to prescribe remotely, so we are unable to prescribe prescription-only medication but I can still provide with valuable advice and discuss possible over-the-counter suitable medications, if adequate.

Dr Gouveia was informative and helpful! She has put my mind at ease with my furry baby and informed me of available over the counter treatments, and different diets to feed. Will definitely use again - it’s a great way of having tips and advice, it’s a very professional and friendly service.

This is the first time I have used an online vet and it was a really good experience. No waiting around in waiting rooms! Dr Gouveia was fantastic, she is very knowledgable and gave me some great advice to follow to help keep my dogs allergies in check. I live fairly remotely so it is great to be able to get veterinary advice at home, plus I didn’t have to put my dog through the ordeal of the dreaded vet practice! Five stars from me, I would highly recommend.
