Dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon with over seven years of clinical experience in small-animal medicine and surgery. For the past three years, I have worked exclusively as a Night / Out-of-Hours Locum Veterinary Surgeon across multiple UK practices, managing emergency and critical cases. I really like all aspects of Veterinary Medicine but I have a particular interest in Emergency.

Outside of work, I am passionate about animals and share my life with two dogs whom I brought with me to the UK. I’m a fit and active person who enjoys long walks, yoga, painting and cooking. I love spending quality time with friends and family, and I place great value on keeping my family close and united wherever I am.

Dr. Clara Astorino was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns about my dog’s diet and food allergies. She provided clear and detailed diet instructions as well as other general health tips. Would definitely recommend her as nutrition expert. Overall she is passionate and caring, making sure you get and do the best for your pet.

Dr Clara is a very prepared vet and also a very nice person. I was quite worried for my cat, being quite weak and less lively than usual after a bad scratch. After reporting to her all the symptoms, the change of aptitude and the chronology of the events, she was able to figure out promptly the possible cause/disease and advised me what to do. She did not hesitate to have nice words to me to calm me down and reassure me about the well-being of my cat. I highly recommend Dr Clara as vet, who is very passionate about her work and the well-being of the animals.

I don't have much experience with pets and vets, so I found it very reassuring how Dr Astorino explained to me the most probable causes of the symptoms of my cat. She also calmly explained to me exactly what exams to ask for, what medicines to get in the short term and what to do according to the exam results, also in the worst case scenarios. She also suggested what to do if the exams don't give sure results. I felt much better prepared and informed and I'm definitely going to ask again for advice in the future. Highly recommended!

I can't recommend Dr. Clara enough. She goes above and beyond trying to find possible solutions to your problems, and is very friendly. She genuinely care about your pet, and nothing is too much trouble, I checked it asking about many things at only one consultation. Her advice gave me the best peace of mind!
