Dr. Carla Vera-Cabrera

Hello!

I’m Carla, a veterinary surgeon originally from Canary Islands (Spain), where I qualified.

For the last 4 years I’ve worked full time in busy small animal practices in the UK, where I have been focused on developing further my interests in emergency and behaviour, and also on creating strong relationships with my patients and their guardians, sometimes in the hardest moments.

In my spare time I love camping, hiking (anything outdoors really!), reading a good book, enjoying electronic music festivals and spending time with my partner, family and pets back at home.

Given my desire to achieve a more flexible lifestyle but at the same time continue to offer quality advice to pet guardians concerned about their health so you can make decisions in your pet's best interest, I am very happy to start this journey in telemedicine and to be able to contribute to its further development in the future.
