Located in Capital Circle, Tom Brown Park is a 256-acre dog park that offers many activities to visitors. This includes tennis courts, playgrounds, and hills for picnics. At its southern end is the Tom Brown Dog Park, close to Lake Leon and the park’s various nature trails. There is a separate area for large and small dogs, and each area has their own double-entry and exit gates. It used to be the capital of the chiefdom and the ceremonial center of the Fort Walton culture. While this park is not off-leash, there are plenty of activities to do with your up. It is built on flat, sandy terrain, and there are two nature trails you can take. One is flat and has poop bags, water fountains, and benches available.
