Vetster Wellness

Welcome to Vester Wellness! Vester Wellness is a subscription service that allows a pet owner (“Subscriber”, “you” and “your”) of a designated dog or cat (“Pet”) to receive wellness benefits for their Pet from Vetster Inc. and/or our authorized providers (referred to as “Vetster”, “we” or “us”).

In order to subscribe to Vetster Wellness, the Subscriber must agree to our general Terms of Use , in addition to the following terms and conditions (the “Subscription Terms”). Vetster’s Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected, used and disclosed in connection with Vetster Wellness.

1. Automatic renewal

Each Vetster Wellness subscription plan (the “Plan”) is for a 12-month commitment (“Plan Year”) that begins on your sign up date (“Start Date”), which is the same date as your first month's payment. The Plan will automatically renew on the anniversary of the Start Date in each subsequent year until the Subscriber or Vetster cancels the Plan in accordance with these Subscription Terms.

2. Subscription fees

Subscriptions fees are based on the Plan Year with monthly installments. Each monthly payment will be charged to the Subscriber’s credit card. Subscribers are responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes associated with your Plan in a timely manner with a valid payment method. The Subscriber is responsible for ensuring credit card information is accurate and kept up to date.

  1. All payments are made through our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and all payment information will be processed in accordance with Stripe's End User Terms of Service and Stripe's Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Stripe Agreements”). Subscribers should familiarize themselves with those policies. By agreeing to these Subscription Terms, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Agreements, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Vetster enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Vetster accurate and complete information about you, and you authorize Vetster to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe, with Stripe.

3. Missed subscription fees

If a Subscriber fails to make a monthly payment (e.g., if the Subscriber’s credit card information is incorrect or the payment is rejected), Vetster will suspend the Plan until the Subscriber reinstates the Plan by paying all due fees. If the Plan is more than 90 days past due, Vetster may cancel the agreement, discontinue services, and collect all remaining payments in the current-year Plan Year. If unable to collect these fees, Vetster may refer the fees to a third-party collection agency. The collection agency may result in a negative impact on the Subscriber’s credit rating and additional collection fees.

4. Reimbursements

Where the Subscriber is required to pay for services or product upfront, upon submission of a claim for reimbursement as verified by Vetster, reimbursements will be facilitated by Hyperwallet and are subject to the Hyperwallet Terms of Service and the Hyperwallet Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Hyperwallet Agreements”). By agreeing to these Subscription Terms, you agree to be bound by the Hyperwallet Agreements, as the same may be modified by Hyperwallet from time to time. As a condition of Vetster enabling payment services through Hyperwallet, you agree to provide Vetster accurate and complete information about you, and you authorize Vetster to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment services provided by Hyperwallet, with Hyperwallet.

5. Upgrades or downgrades

The Subscriber can upgrade or downgrade their coverage on the anniversary of their Start Date to alternative plans that may be offered by Vetster at that time.

6. Not transferable

The Plan applies to the specified Pet and Subscriber designated when you sign up for the Plan. The Subscriber can not transfer or assign the Plan to another Pet or person.

7. Cancelation

Plans are for a 12-month term, if you would like to cancel before the expiration of the Plan Year, our cancelation policy is as follows:

  1. No claims made within Plan Year: No cancellation fee due.
  2. Claims made within Plan Year. If claims are made, there is a cancellation fee. Subject to applicable law, the cancellation fee is calculated as the lesser of the balance of the subscription fees due for the remainder of the Plan Year or the amount of claims paid by Vetster under the Plan during the Plan Year.
  3. Vetster reserves the right to suspend or cancel the plan at any time. In this case, no future payments will be due, regardless of how many claims were made.

    Note: Upon cancellation by Vetster or the Subscriber, there will be no refunds on subscription fees that were already paid, unless required by applicable law.

8. Exclusions

The following are not included in the Plan and will not be reimbursed by Vetster to Subscriber:

  1. Services or products obtained by the Subscriber prior to the Start Date.
  2. Services or products purchased outside of the country the Vetster Wellness plan was purchased.
  3. Services or product receipts that do not specify both the Pet name and Subscriber name designated under the Plan.
  4. Services or products not explicitly listed as covered under the Plan when the Subscriber subscribed to or renewed the Plan.
  5. Expenses not directly related to products or services covered under the Plan.

9. Plan changes

The price and services included in the Plan are fixed for the first 12 months of the Plan. Vetster reserves the right to adjust the price, the services included in the Plan on any renewal of the agreement. Where required by applicable law, Vetster will provide at least 30 days’ prior notice of such changes. If the Subscriber does not agree with such changes, you may cancel the Plan at any time before the anniversary of your Start Date without charge or penalty. Such cancellation will become effective at the end of your current Plan Year and you are responsible for making any monthly subscription fee payments until the end of the current Plan Year.

10. Changes to Subscription Terms

Vetster may amend any aspect of these Subscription Terms from time-to-time, upon at least 30 days’ prior notice where required by applicable law. If you do not wish to accept any amendment to these Subscription Terms, you may cancel your Plan with no cancellation fee. If you continue to use our service after any amendment comes into effect, you signify your agreement to be bound by the revised Subscription Terms.
