This little dog park on the southern edge of Lake Shore East Park is a great place for dog owners and dog lovers to visit. It’s entirely supported by Chicago citizens, accepting funding from the Taste of Lincoln Avenue, membership dues, and individual donations, and its maintenance is managed by the Wiggly Field Advisory Council. Logan Square Dog Park is right near the highway, offering easy access for all dog owners. It’s also attached to Park No. 556, a small corner of the park for both humans and dogs to enjoy. While this park is fairly modest, it’s very widely beloved by dog owners in the area. There’s even a smaller area for smaller dogs or dogs who want to play by themselves. In the summer, you can find plastic kiddie pools to let your dog play in.

Puptown, named after the Uptown neighborhood that it resides in, is a community effort to maintain a dog-friendly area that is truly unique and enjoyable for both dogs and humans. It features 16,230 square feet of space, which is about a third of an acre. As a volunteer-run program, Puptown generally has cleaning events on the first or second Saturday of the month, and it also offers the Puptown Howl-O-Ween Parade and Party in October as its largest event.

Grant Park is on the far east side of Chicago, all the way on the Monroe Harbor, and is a great place for your dog to enjoy as much as you do.
