About Vet

Rachel Hollenbach is the proud owner of Northwest Animal Hospital, which she purchased in 2019. Since taking the helm, she has been committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care to pets and their families in the community. She graduated from Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, and then completed a private practice internship in Cincinnati and Springfield, Ohio. Dr. Hollenbach also completed her undergraduate studies at Wright State University, where she grew her passion for animals and science.

As a Fear Free Elite Certified Professional, Dr. Hollenbach is dedicated to ensuring every pet receives care in a calm, stress-free environment. She believes in building strong relationships with her clients and their pets, offering personalized care that focuses on preventative medicine, behavioral counseling, internal medicine, and dentistry. Her goal is to help pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hollenbach is a proud wife to her husband, Jason, an Army veteran and deputy sheriff, and a loving mother to their two children, Julia and Jonah. She enjoys reading, traveling, and indulging her passion for food—whether it’s trying new restaurants or exploring new wine pairings. At home, she shares her life with two Tibetan Spaniels, Quincy and Wilson, as well as three cats: Shamus, Gabi, and Tomasina.
