California born and Pacific Northwest raised! I completed my undergraduate studies at Oregon State University in Animal Sciences with a Spanish minor and business certificate. I earned my doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University College Dublin in Ireland, where I participated in dairy hormone research. I enjoy hiking, gardening, poetry, and travel; I am an empathetic dog, cat, goat and person mom with experience in livestock, dog, cat, rodent medicine and surgery, and have an untiring passion for helping people and their animal families.
