About Vet

Dr. Allison is a 2025 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she fell in love with all things veterinary medicine. An Ohio native, she currently resides in Iowa working as a mixed-animal veterinarian. When she's not working, you can find her hanging out with her corgi, Riggs. She has experience treating all things large and small- dogs, cats, horses, cattle, camelids, sheep, goats, and even backyard poultry!

Farm Animal Clients: Due to state restrictions for virtual visits, I am unable to prescribe medications via this platform. Farm animal calls are scheduled under the assumption it is for consultation-based questions only.

Iowa Clients: Due to state regulations, I am unable to write prescriptions without doing an in-person physical exam for your pet. Virtual appointments can be used as a way to provide advice, support for your pet's current condition, or deciding if a visit to your emergency veterinarian is warranted.

Ohio Clients: State regulations allow the establishment of a Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship. I am able to prescribe most commonly used medications via this platform.

Our newly adopted kitty has a respiratory infection and issues related to recently being spayed. Dr. Rapp was extremely pleasant, positive, and supportive. She listened to the issues related to our new kitty and provided a path forward. She also encouraged us to follow up with her on our progress. This provide some peace of mind as a new addition to the family can be stressful. Thank you!
