Dr. Michele Smith

Dr. Smith is a graduate of Colorado State University, She has been practicing veterinary medicine for 21 years. She owned an AAHA certified practice in Denver Colorado for 18 years. Dr. Smith recently moved to Florida to enjoy the sunshine.

Prior to practice ownership Dr. Smith completed a veterinary internship at the prestigious Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Aurora Colorado. During her internship she was featured on Emergency Vets on Animal Planet several times.

Dr. Smith worked as a relief veterinarian after she left Alameda East while building her first practice. She has now circled back and is working is as a relief veterinarian in Florida. She is licensed in Colorado, Florida and California. Dr. Smith is excited to help you with your pet questions if you reside in any of these states.

Dr. Smith is very experienced in small animal medicine and surgery. She has some experience with small mammals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. She has basic equine experience as well.
