Born in the United Kingdom and raised on a diet of James Herriot stories, Dr. Cuff always knew he wanted to be a veterinarian. After attending university in the UK and gaining his Bachelor and then Master of Science degrees, he went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. After graduating from veterinary school, he completed a one-year general internship on Long Island, NY, followed by a one-year specialty internship in neurology and a three-year neurology / neurosurgery residency in Virginia. Following his residency, Dr. Cuff continued to work in the Virginia-Maryland area and helped establish a successful specialty neurology practice. Throughout his career, Dr. Cuff has always been involved in both research and teaching. He has published several scientific papers, trained interns and residents, and lectured to veterinarians on many topics within his area of expertise.

Dogs have always been an important part of Dr. Cuff's life and his family currently includes two English Mastiffs, Morgan and Lila. Beyond work and family, his hobbies include travel, photography and scuba diving.

Sadly Dr. Cuff is unable to consult with clients of BVNS at this time.
