About Vet

I knew I wanted to help animals since I was a child. After high school, I attended Purdue & got my DVM in 1981. I worked in Cook & Will Counties (IL) and in Lake County (IN) in companion animal and emergency practices. My special interests are preventative & internal medicine, dentistry, behavior and working dogs. I'm owned by a 9-year-old female German Shepherd and a 1.5 year-old rescued DSH cat. Outside of practice, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, music and travel. Many clients praise my thoroughness, attention to detail, patience and ability to explain complex medical issues. I look forward to helping your pet via a virtual visit on Vetster! Please note: in Indiana, diagnosing and prescribing Rxs requires a "doctor/client/patient reationship". Unless I have physically seen your pet in the last 12 months, we lack that relationship. Sorry for that. I will still try to help!
