Colorado VCPR Development

As of March 10th, 2021, the CO State Board of Veterinary Medicine has announced that veterinarians are now authorized to establish a veterinarian-client-patient-relationship (VCPR) remotely, allowing for the practice of veterinary telemedicine in Colorado! Florida Bill CS/HB 911 and CS/SB 1370: Medical Treatment of Animals

As you may know, the Florida Senate recently introduced Bill CS/HB 911 and CS/SB 1370: Medical Treatment of Animals. These bills authorize veterinarians to establish a veterinarian-client-patient-relationship (VCPR) remotely, allowing for the practice of veterinary telemedicine within the jurisdiction of the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine. They are expected to come into effect as of July 1, 2021.

If you would like to support the passing of these bills as a practicing veterinarian on Vetster, please reach out to the sponsoring Senators. You can email both Senators through the following websites directly:

Client Success Story

We love hearing feedback from our clients! This week, Ginger from Palmyra, VA, said:

I was able to book an appointment at 9:30pm for an hour later. It gave me so much peace of mind to get some advice right away. The vet called in a prescription and gave clear instructions on what to look out for and when to head in-person to a vet if needed.
