About Vet

Welcome to Vetster! I’m Dr Magda, a UK-registered Veterinary Surgeon with over 15 years of clinical experience across both charity and private practice, including extensive work in emergency and out-of-hours care.

I have a particular interest in emergency and critical cases and hold a GP Certificate in Emergency Medicine and Surgery. I am currently further developing my expertise through a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.

Alongside my work in the UK, I have also volunteered in developing countries, supporting local teams and contributing to improving standards of veterinary care. I’m passionate about making veterinary support more accessible, and I’m very pleased to be part of the evolving field of telemedicine, helping more pets and their owners wherever they are.

During our consultation, I will listen carefully to your concerns, help you understand what may be going on, and guide you through sensible, practical next steps based on the information you provide.

Important information about this service: This is a remote advice service and does not replace an in-person veterinary examination. As I am unable to physically examine your pet or perform diagnostic tests, I cannot provide a definitive diagnosis or take your pet under my direct care.

In line with current UK veterinary legislation and professional regulations, I am not permitted to prescribe prescription-only medications remotely. If your pet requires medication or further treatment, you will need to consult a local veterinarian who can examine your pet and prescribe appropriately.

My advice is based solely on the information shared during the consultation and may therefore be limited. If your pet’s condition is severe, worsening, or not improving, it is important to seek prompt in-person veterinary care.

For clients based outside the UK, please note that any diagnostic and treatment decisions must ultimately be made by a local veterinary professional who can take responsibility for your pet’s care.

Please note that I do not provide behavioural consultations (such as aggression or anxiety cases), and in these situations I recommend working with a qualified animal behaviourist.

I look forward to supporting you and your pet.
