Dr. David Bichai

Dr. David Bichai was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He developed a passion for animals at an early age, and starting working with the only local shelter in the city by the age of 13. Following his dream of becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Bichai moved to the U.S. in 2012 and acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of South Florida. Shortly after graduation, he started veterinary school at the University of Florida where he earned his DVM.

Bichai was in NC for a surgical externship when he fell in love with the beautiful nature of the state, and decided to make Charlotte his new home. Dr. Bichai has many areas of interest within veterinary medicine with special interest in ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery and integrative medicine.

Dr. Bichai has a passion for traveling, art and food! He has participated in multiple study-abroad programs that includes Peru, Germany and Honduras. During his free time he is often exploring new cities and different cuisines, working on new art project, or being a Bull-gator; soaking up the sun at a park. Dr. Bichai is planting his roots in Charlotte with his 2 pets; Frea and Lana.
