Dr. Charles Bancroft

I am a second generation veterinarian. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to spend countless hours working and volunteering in a veterinary clinic. As I was exposed to the wonderful world of veterinary medicine early on, I always knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian. For my undergraduate work, I went to a small, private school and studied Pre-Professional Biology. I worked hard and was able to learn and develop a competitive resume for veterinary school. I was fortunate enough to be accepted and later graduate from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Soon after, I accepted a position at the very clinic that I grew up in as a child. During my time in private practice, I have developed special interests in ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. Much of my time, thus far in my career, has been devoted to evening shifts, where I have been able to see many emergency cases and unique situations. Being at a very busy small-animal clinic, I saw a high volume of cases which enabled me to further myself and my knowledge as a veterinarian.

At this point in my career, I am hoping to spend more time researching and studying in order to master my craft and hone in on some of the specialty areas that I mentioned previously. In my personal life, my wife and I have been blessed with a wonderful daughter and "mini" pig Theo. I love spending time with my family as we wholeheartedly enjoy hiking, fishing, and traveling while visiting many of the National Parks our country has to offer.
