Dr. Abby Matthaeus

I am an equine and small animal veterinarian. After graduating vet school I spent a year working at a high end equine referral hospital. After which I chose to work at a mixed animal hospital where I have practiced in South Eastern Idaho for the last 3 years. My passion and specialty is in equine medicine and surgery. However, I also love all the work we do with dogs and cats. At our practice we do everything from surgical procedures ranging from colic surgeries to spaying/neutering dogs and cats, dentals, reproductive medicine etc. I know how hard it can be to find good medical advise online and feel that this is a great way for clients with busy schedules to reach out to veterinarians on their own time with and be able to obtain the correct veterinary advice and treatment necessary and from the comfort of their own home to help their pet.
