I’m a licensed veterinarian with over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine, including emergency care, and a strong focus on helping pets stay healthy through thoughtful medical guidance. I believe pet parents deserve clear, honest communication and recommendations tailored to their pet’s individual needs.

Whether your pet is experiencing a new concern, an ongoing issue, or something more urgent, my goal is to help you better understand what may be happening, what can reasonably be monitored at home, and when in-person veterinary care or diagnostic testing may be important — while helping you feel informed, supported, and confident in the next steps for your pet’s care.

I also help pet parents navigate ongoing or recurrent conditions that may benefit from continuity of care and long-term management, including allergies, chronic skin and ear conditions, mobility concerns, urinary issues, senior pet care, behavioral concerns, and general wellness support.

At home, my wife, daughter, and I share life with three beloved pets: Millie and Milky, our domestic shorthair cats, and Bagheera, our terrier mix. Outside of work, I am an equestrian show jumper, enjoy traveling and reading.

My dog had a medication aversion to her antibiotics and Dr. Vikas Godara was very understanding and gave me some great information about the medication and sent a new prescription to help out with the bitterness of the medication so that my dog can accept the antibiotic better. Definitely recommend for future concerns and visits!

This was my first Vetster visit. I didn’t even know virtual vets were an option until I did a search tonight. My 14yo Maine Coon girl (Jinx) has terminal cancer. Tonight her condition took a downward turn. Dr. Godara explained what palliative care options were available, and what his recommendations were, in addition to asking for my input re an appetite suppressant. He was able to get a good look at Jinx on-camera (gums, eyes, demeanor, etc…). He is a warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough veterinarian.
