Shayea Vicente

I was born in California and dreamt to become a veterinarian. Moved to New Mexico where an introduction to farm animals amplified my interest in animal care. I worked various jobs, until I discovered the Veterinary technician position and that one can go to school to get certified. I moved to Albuquerque to start my path to become a Registered Veterinary Technician at Brown Mackie College. I externed at VCA Town & Country, Los Lunas Animal Clinic, and Cameron Veterinary. I got my first veterinary technician job at an Emergency Clinic. I joined this field to give back to the animals and those who care and love them. I can't think of a time when I didn't have an animal helping me throughout my life. I have experience with dogs, cats, and some exotics-rabbits, hedgehogs, turtles, sugar gliders, hamsters, ferrets, and some reptiles. I look forward to helping you with your pet(s).
