About Vet

Doctor Sarah Furtney is originally from El Paso, Texas and received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University in 2005. She was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the world-famous Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. She received a Master of Science from Sul Ross State University, with several published works in the Journal of Equine Veterinary Science. Doctor Furtney attended Western University of Health Sciences in California for veterinary school and graduated in 2016 with several awards and accolades. She completed an equine internship in Ocala, Florida at Peterson and Smith in 2017. Her company "Animology" provides mobile vaccine clinics and clinical veterinary relief in the surrounding area(s) for both large and small animal the last four years.

Under the Texas Veterinary Practice Act: a "Veterinary Patient Client Relationship" must be established before a veterinarian can lawfully prescribe or dispense medications for Telehealth appointments.
