About Vet

My name is Rachael Sirois and I am a residency-trained veterinarian in the field of internal medicine. I specialize in disease related to the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, hematology, endocrine, kidneys, liver, urogenital tract, and nasal disease. I am particularly skilled in discussions regarding chronic disease, quality of life, and end-of-life decisions. That being said, I also have experience in general practice and can consult regarding recommendations for preventative/wellness care, puppy/kitten/first ownership concerns, vaccinations, and monthly preventatives. I also have a personal interest in nutrition.

Although I do think that nothing can truly replace the benefits of an in-person, physical examination, I think telemedicine is a great platform to obtain general information, hear a second opinion, or have the ability to talk further about a disease process without the hassle and stress of getting a pet to the clinic. I am more than happy to hear about your fur baby and any issues. Based on clinical history and relevant diagnostics, I would be more than happy to discuss my thoughts on their case and maybe make recommendations regarding related diagnostics/treatments.
