Dr. Albano has been practicing since graduating with honors from the veterinary school at Virginia Tech in 2002. Dr. Albano completed a post-graduate internship in medicine and surgery and spent many years working exclusively in emergency medicine. After transitioning to general practice, Dr. Albano began to study ways to integrate more natural methods of veterinary care with modern veterinary medicine. As part of this process, Dr. Albano became certified in veterinary acupuncture and canine rehabilitation therapy. This allows Dr. Albano to offer his patients and clients options that range from conventional medicine and diagnostics to diet and herbal supplements. Please note that Dr. Albano is licensed in Maryland and may not be able to write prescriptions for certain other states.
