I am a 2021 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Virginia Tech studying zoonotic diseases. Prior to starting this position, I was in general practice for 2 months at Riverside Veterinary Clinic as an Associate Veterinarian. Additionally, I have been a Relief Veterinarian at Vetco Clinics (vaccines and preventatives) for approximately 4 months. My primary clinical interests are in wellness and infectious disease management, which ties directly into my primary research interests. My goal through providing this service is to help your pet feel better if you're having trouble being seen by a conventional veterinary clinic. Although this is a not a substitute for in-person care, and I would caution all potential clients to consider whether a problem is appropriate for virtual care, it is a tool like any other that can be leveraged to improve animal health.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my 2 dogs, 2 cats, and fiancee (who is also a veterinarian), reading, and going to local breweries.
