I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Cornell University in 2004. After graduation, I spent two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer before starting a career in veterinary medicine as a certified veterinary technician in the anesthesia department of Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. I then went on to earn my doctorate of veterinary medicine from Tufts University in 2017 where I developed my passion for community-based medicine.
I traded the East Coast for the West Coast last year where my wife and I share our home with two wonderful kiddos, two feisty cats, and two mischievous dwarf goats. When not practicing medicine, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, and competitive dragon boat racing.
