I am a small animal veterinarian with 15 years of experience working with dogs and cats. I am licensed to practice in both Texas and Washington, and have definitely seen it all in both general practice, urgent care, and preventative medicine. I particularly enjoy helping dogs with skin problems, lameness, and underlying internal medicine and endocrine issues.
I currently live in WA with my husband and 4 Shelties. I compete in dog agility, and have even been on TV in major competitions like Westminster. We also enjoy hiking and camping. Dog agility has fostered my interests in sports medicine, pain management, and behavior, but I also have a special place in my heart for senior pets. I love consulting on senior pets, and making sure that we're doing everything we can to keep them happy and comfortable for as long as possible.
Due to current telemedicine laws, I'm unable to prescribe any prescription medication for your pet. However, I'm happy to discuss what is going on with your pet to determine if there's an emergency that requires you to seek care immediately. I'm also happy to offer an opinion on diagnostics and treatments that your family vet may have done, to help clarify any questions or assuage any concerns.
