Hello, my name is Jade and I am a Small Animal and Exotics Veterinary Surgeon based in the UK. I qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 2017 and have worked in Small Animal General Practice since, both in the East Midlands and South West. As well as routinely seeing dogs and cats, I also treat exotic species and I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Exotic Animal Studies. I have experience with small mammals, birds, reptiles and some of more unusual exotic pets, but I do have a special interest in rabbit medicine. I enjoy all aspects of dog and cat medicine, but especially emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery. I enjoy working with my clients to figure out how we can best help their pets together. As well as medical intervention, a lot of our pets would benefit from changes in husbandry and diet, this can help many health problems we see and I am happy to discuss this with you. At home, I have two very cheeky rescue rabbits called Pringle and Sylvie and a rather 'special' rescue cat called Dori, to keep me on my toes.
