Hello! I am a 2015 graduate of the veterinary school in Saskatoon. I have worked in many clinics now, but I had spent about 5 years in the Yukon after I graduated. There, I worked primarily with cats and dogs, but also with horses, livestock, and exotics (reptiles, birds, rabbits, and pocket pets like hamsters, gerbils, etc.). During my time in the Yukon, I had volunteered with a few sled dog competitions as a race veterinarian. I now live on Vancouver Island, where I do locum work (contract veterinary work for various clinics, including emergency hospitals).
Outside of my passion for quality, compassionate pet care and improving the lives of our furry best friends, I spend a lot of time in the outdoors with my wife and dog. I have an avid interest in traveling, hiking, camping, and paddling. I am missing snow sports since moving to the island, but a time away from the cold and darkness is a welcome break.
