Mikah Bresland

As an RVT with a passion for a wide variety of species, I have come to deeply understand and appreciate the importance of the human-animal bond and how to create a safe space for clients to ask the questions they need.

As graduate from Douglas College in 2019, I have been lucky enough to gain some wonderful experience in mixed/general practice. My knowledge and skills have taken me abroad to volunteer in wildlife sanctuaries and spay/neuter clinics all over (treating some pretty unique animals!).

My main interests in the veterinary hospital lie in surgery (anesthesia), and working with clients in regard to canine behaviour and training. I currently work in small animal practice but would like to transition back to mixed practice/exotics one day soon.

When i'm not working with my clients helping them with their wonderful companions, you can find me outdoors with Quila my rescue pup from Mexico, and Kizmet my adventure cat (more like adventure dog if you ask him, though).
